SHUT UP and PLAY the song
Why does one listen to the radio? To stay tuned to one particular station?
Because of the music they play.
SO WHY!!?? Do they imagine that if they actually play a song without screwing it over someone is going to record it and then sell it as a pirated CD of Class95 best hits?
Come on guys...
There REALLY IS NO NEED to keep the DJ spewing and I mean SPEWING inane crap right till the last 1/2 second before the vocals start.
A DJ is supposed to PLAY music that entertains their audience.
Add in some chit-chat between songs.
What we are getting is verbal diarhoea-song-verbal diarhoea
Now the music marathon has the right idea, trust me. DJ can chat as much as they like, but when it comes to playing the music THAT IS what you get.
Lastly, dudes and dudettes the word is Marathon (MARE-RAH-TH-ON) NOT (MARE-ER-THERN)
The word IS an Ang Mo word, no need to Ang-Mo-Ise it.
Say it right and you do NOT need the fake accent.
