JaRheads be gone!
HAH! I have been informed that this morning, when Gong & the Frying Duchand
were doing their Mourning show, someone called in for the "Cash Call".
Ok that is not the punch line.
Ring that Gong (G. Ong) told the caller that they had won $200 because NO ONE was listening to Cartunes yesterday to call in and claim the money.
Like I said, put Rod on the 12am-6am shift where he can only play music and not say a word.
Jean can get a sock puppet and talk to it when she is lonely.
Gee am I extra grumpy this day?
Maybe, as I have been steadily avoiding listening to Class95 between the hours of 5pm and 9pm.
But every now and then we have to be forced to listen to some REALLY stupid excerpt from Cartunes.
IS the BEST of Cartunes really sound bites of JaRheads (Jean & Rod) talking to a kid whose name they have not pronounced correctly since day 1.
ARRGH! Better get my meditation CD and play it with the volume up full!

Riiiight, time for another WTF comment on what one has to listen to via the Radio.
The station in question Class95, the show Blind Dates.
Let me first say the show has been interesting, never do I slam something before I have given it a chance.
Unlike some people I know who just slam a show just because it is a product of the local broadcast agency, which you know has the *winning* formula of 6 min of show and 12 minutes of advertisments. Oh and let me NOT forget to mention that a show that is supposed to start at 8pm (or any other time) never does. You ALWAYS have to set your VCR to start recording from 7.58pm ,that does NOT take into account that your VCR's clock and THEIR clock may not be in sync! So you may STILL miss the begining.
Riiiiiight back to Blind Dates on Class95. The Current Date (see date of posting this blog lah!)is Melanie Mostafa.
I was listening to her describe herself.
First thing that came to mind, "Makeup your mind woman!!!"
On one hand she is "Free-spirited,spontaneous" on the other she is "Pragmatic"
On one hand she "looks vunerable" on the other hand "she possess an inner strength"
On one hand she would be attracted to a guy who "is spontaneous, adventurous" on the other hand he should be "focused and level-headed"
eh HARLO woman, you want what?? Sweet and Sour Chicken?
Wait a minute, you a Gemini? I dated a girl who was a Gemini, and she was like how Miss Melanie describes herself.
Oh well, lets see how the show goes tonight. It might be exciting but predictable. I might enjoy it but have to learn to appreciate it.
